About Anthony D'Ellena
I’m Anthony D’Ellena, and I’m running for Narragansett Town Council because I love this town and believe in its future. Narragansett is more than just a place to live; it’s a community that deserves leaders who genuinely care about its people, its traditions, and its growth.
For years, I’ve worked in politics across Rhode Island, supporting candidates and campaigns that aim to make a difference. My experience has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to run effective, impactful campaigns, but more importantly, it’s taught me the importance of listening to the people you serve.
My decision to run for Town Council wasn’t something I planned ahead of time. It was a decision sparked by attending council meetings and seeing firsthand what was going on in our town. When I witnessed actions by some current Town Council members that didn’t align with the best interests of our community, I knew I had to step up. With my skills in organizing and running campaigns, I realized I could make a real difference right here in Narragansett.
I’m not running for a title or recognition; I’m running because I’m a concerned citizen who wants to see change for the better. I believe that the voices of Narragansett’s residents should be heard and respected. I’m committed to ensuring that citizen input is valued, and that every decision made by the Town Council reflects the true needs and desires of our community.
As a candidate for Narragansett Town Council, I’m here to bring common sense back to our local government. I’m here to champion local infrastructure, protect our coastline and coastal access, and stand up against ordinances that infringe on the rights of landlords and college students. I’ve already taken action by organizing a petition against restrictive parking signs, gathering over 3,600 signatures, and twice preventing these measures at the state level.
But most importantly, I’m here to restore the strong sense of community that makes Narragansett special. I will promote our local businesses, enhance public services, and make sure that every resident’s voice is heard. Together, we can make Narragansett a place where everyone feels valued and where our town’s best days are still ahead.
I’m asking for your vote not just to represent you on the Town Council, but to work alongside you in making Narragansett the best it can be.
